Event Wrap-Up: London Design Festival 2015

Sprawled across the U.K’s capital, this year’s London Design Festival was once again an impressive display of the finest creative talent in the design community.

With more than 400 exhibitions, which encompassed a wide range of design disciplines, you’d easily find yourself spoilt for choice. Highlights included A Bullet from a Shooting Star, RIBA Regent Street Windows Project and the immersive Mise-en-abyme installation in the V&A, to name a few.

Depicting the essence of designflooring, we reveled in the opportunity to showcase our latest abstract and special cut designs.

Supporting Tektura at Decorex International, who exclusively presented 19 beautiful fabric-backed vinyl designs, our new Da Vinci Coastal Driftwood flooring played host to the brand’s exciting display (as pictured below).

With a combination of sanded and cross sawn visuals, Coastal Driftwood brings the striking beauty of weathered and reclaimed effects to a blend of soft grey-brown tones.

Our friends at Material Lab also had our new modern rustic Da Vinci designs on display. Heavily influenced by the trend towards reclaimed and repurposed materials in the home. The 36″x3″ distressed look planks replicate the unique visuals that comes from the transformation of wood over time.
