Self build and community-led housing event in Lancaster

Lancaster City Council is holding an event for prospective self builders and community-led housing enthusiasts.

The event will take place on Thursday 20 June at The Storey, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster.

The talk will feature presentations from an architect, the team at Lancaster planning, a self builder and Action with Communities – who provide community build advice.

There will then be exhibitions and advice from planners, architects, passivhaus experts, eco and modular house suppliers and builders including Beattie Passive, The Green Build Store, Hartwyn Eco Build and Simply Modular, The Penrith Building Society, Action for Communities and the Community Land Trust.

Those wishing to register their interest, you should email planningpolicy@lancaster.go.uk with their names along with how many people wish to attend.

More exhibitors and activities will be announced at a later date, with updates shared on the Lancaster City Council website.
