This annexe sits in the grounds of a home architect Magnus Strom had worked on prior to setting up his architectural practice.
The owner replaced a dated two-storey house with a new timber-clad building. He wanted a fun and flexible space that could host parties and also serve as extra accommodation when needed.
As the house sits within the New Forest National Park, it’s an ecologically sensitive site. Extensive wildlife surveys were needed to ensure the necessary measures were in place to maintain natural habitats.
